Situated just north of the city of Siena, Dievole is a key player in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico region. The property covers an impressive total of 400 hectares, of which 55 are planted to vines. Within those 55 hectares, Dievole splits their vineyards into 16 separate plots to craft their lineup of wines, which includes their flagship Chianti Classico cuvée, a Chianti Classico Riserva, four IGT Toscana wines, and two Vin Santo cuvées.

The estate’s flagship wine is made from a Sangiovese blend rounded out with Canaiolo and Colorino fermented in concrete / Slavonian oak with native yeasts and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Dievole gets its name for the Italian words “dio” and “vuole,” which mean God willing.
